ExpoForum Studied With Microsoft
On 27 April 2011, ExpoForum specialists completed the course, ``Managing Corporate Projects with the Help of Microsoft Project Professional и Microsoft Project Server 2010.''
The training was conducted by Microsoft's official partner, Bogdanov and Associates.
``For a few years we’ve been successfully using an earlier version, Microsoft Project Server 2007, to manage construction projects of convention and exhibition centres and everything else related to it. Now, we are interested in the new programme's potential, and are studying its capabilities, and that's why we came to this training,'' said Maksim Reshulsky, an ExpoForum planning specialist who took the training.
Anatoly Erkulov, ExpoForum general director, said the final decision about switching to the latests programme software will be taken only after a careful analysis and discussion with the experts. ``We strive to use the latest technology in realising our projects. The quality of programme software allows us to automatize many processes relating to planning, coordination and control of individual steps of a project, and therefore we pay close attention to new capabilities and when it's necessary to use them in our work.''
By the end of 2011 the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) plans to open a special organization for conventions, reports RIA Novosti news agency.
ExpoForum experts took part in a business breakfast dedicated to Internet marketing organized by both the Kommersant publishing house in St. Petersburg, as well as by Begun, the leading advertising network in the Russian internet.
On April 14, ExpoForum representatives gave a presentation at a seminar dedicated to helping natural gas distribution companies form a corporate image. The audience included PR specialists from 58 Russian natural gas distribution companies, as well as journalists. ExpoForum is organizing the St Petersburg Natural Gas Forum that will take place on May 31 to June 3 at the Lenexpo exhibition complex.
Today, representatives of ExpoForum, JSC met with leading Belgian companies that are visiting Russia as part of an economic mission led by HRH Prince Philippe of Belgium.
As a result of ExpoForum's presentation in February, as well as negotiations in March with top officials in China's convention and exhibition industry, the company has been invited to join the China Association of Exhibition Centres, (CAEC).
