ExpoForum International enters tourism market in St Petersburg and abroad
This new line of business is part of ExpoForumТs strategy for development.
ExpoForum has expanded its activities by announcing the creation of a subsidiary company: ExpoForum International. The subsidiary will provide a full range of tourist services for people travelling to conventions and exhibitions. In October, ExpoForum International was listed in the Russian Federal Agency for Tourism’s register of tour operators. This licence means the company can officially work in the tourism industry, both in Russia and abroad.
ExpoForum General Director Anatoly Erkulov stressed that the creation of ExpoForum International was an important step in the company’s strategy, which aims to develop a broad-based business providing a full range of services in the convention and exhibition industry.
The new company will also organise Russian exhibitions and business programmes at overseas specialist exhibition events, and international forums, congresses and conferences. Previously, this work had been carried out by ExpoForum’s Department for International Events. In addition, the new company will provide a range of services for business travellers and run incentive programmes.
