Russian exposition opens at international exhibition in Indonesia
On 5 December, the Russian exposition at the international exhibition of production equipment and materials, Manufacturing Indonesia, was officially opened at the Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran.
Speakers at the opening ceremony included Georgy Kalamanov, the head of the Russian delegation and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Galuzin, the Russian Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia, and Alex Retraubun, Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. The Russian participants were welcomed by representatives of the Indonesian exhibition: Priyatno Sulisto, President of the Russian and CIS Committee of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Himawan Hariyoga, Deputy Chairman for Investment Promotion, Investment Coordinating Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BKPM), and Djauhari Oratmangun, the Indonesian Ambassador to the Russian Federation. Also present was Sergei Voronkov, Executive Director of ExpoForum, which organised the Russian exposition.
In his speech, Georgy Kalamanov said that cooperation between Russia and Indonesia was currently being actively developed, and that one of the most important tasks was to promote Russian products from a wide range of industries in the manufacturing sector.
After the opening, those attending the ceremony toured the Russian stands, an exposition of 300 square metres in total. Of specific interest to the Indonesian delegation was the potential of companies such as KAMAZ, Zelenodolsky Shipyard, and NKP NIIDAR.
As part of the Russian exposition’s business programme, a seminar entitled ‘Opportunities for Russian-Indonesian Investment and Innovation Projects’ was organised. Presentations of exhibitors’ industrial potential and topical round table discussions are also being held.
On 20 February 2013 ExpoForum will launch a new project for exhibitors: special educational seminars which will help exhibition participants to intelligently prepare for events and assess their impact.
The company opens an office in the Pacific Rim
The Governor of St. Petersburg, Georgy Poltavchenko, told the 10th Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Forum that the city would support businesses that produced high-tech goods and created ultra-modern jobs with decent salaries.
Young entrepreneurs, artists, volunteers, athletes, and academics met at this major youth forum.
The new-format ExpoPetersburg exhibition and convention was a resounding success: participants expressed their appreciation for the project, which enabled them to communicate in a common language, and without intermediaries.
On 12 December 2012, a roundtable on the subject of New Opportunities for Developing Small Business Through Clustering. Co-operation in Manufacturing, will be held at the Lenexpo exhibition complex (pavilion 7, hall 7.2), as part of the Forum for Small and Medium Enterprises.
Representatives of industry, higher education, and research institutions are to meet at Lenexpo Exhibition Complex to discuss cross-border partnership opportunities with EU countries.
A subcontractors’ networking platform has been organised for the first time as part of the X ‘Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises’ Forum.
