Chinese companies to attend exhibitions in St. Petersburg

A series of business meetings organised by ExpoForum in China between 1721 January have resulted in a number of agreements designed to encourage Chinese companies to participate in Russian exhibitions.

Agreements on Chinese participation in the Auto+Car Service exhibition, to be held 24-27 October 2013 in St. Petersburg, were reached with the organisers of the China International Auto Parts Expo (CIAPE), the largest exhibition of its kind in China, and with the organisation which arranges the participation of Chinese car parts manufacturers in overseas trade exhibitions. Plans for a combined Chinese exhibition at Zoosphere were agreed with businesses working with the Exhibition Committee of the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), along with ways of attracting a pool of Chinese participants to the Russian Industrialist exhibition. In addition, a memorandum was to be signed with the Chinese Ministry of Commerce’s Centre for the EU-China Trade and Cooperation Agreement on the selection of a company to arrange the participation of Chinese exhibitors at Agrorus.

“The signature of so many agreements with new partners from China is the logical next step following the opening of ExpoForum’s Chinese-speaking office in Beijing”, commented Igor Pozdnyakov, ExpoForum Director in China, on the results of the business meetings. “It provides our Chinese partners with an accessible, year-round opportunity for presentation and negotiation. Furthermore, as the only Russian member of the China Association of Exhibition Centres (CAEC), ExpoForum is fully involved in the Chinese exhibition community’s business communications process, which means that information is shared effectively by both sides.”
