Media accreditation opens for Zoosphere 2014

From 10–24 November, advance media accreditation will be available for Zoosphere 2014, the 23rd International Trade Fair of Goods and Services for Pets, which is set to take place on 26–29 November in Pavilion H (3) of the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.

More than 200 companies from 20 countries will present a wide range of products and services for pets, including economy and premium class pet food, medicines and vitamin supplements, cosmetics, accessories, and more. The business programme will focus on oncological diseases, the treatment of exotic animals, and Internet promotion of veterinary clinics, pet salons and breeders. Anders Hallgren, a leading international animal behaviourist from Sweden, will give a lecture at Zoosphere for the first time. In addition, competitions and master classes in canine and feline grooming, biotope aquarium design and terrarium design will be held. On 29–30 November, Zooshow, the exhibition’s traditional pet show will be held.

Accreditation opens for St Petersburg International Health Forum

Preliminary media accreditation for the St Petersburg International Health Forum will be available from 1–13 October. The Forum will take place from 15–17 October in Pavilion 3 of the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The St Petersburg International Health Forum brings together specialised health industry events from three leading exhibition companies: ExpoForum International, Messe Dusseldorf Moscow, and Primexpo. Exhibitors from 15 countries and 12 regions of Russia will display a full range of products, technologies and services within the forum’s themed sections: MEDIZ St Petersburg Medicine and Health, Pharma St Petersburg, Bioindustry, Healthcare Tourism, and Aesthetic Medicine. The business programme will cover such issues as improving the quality of medical services and implementing public health programmes, the potential for developing the pharmaceuticals market, and much more besides.

Accreditation opens for 20th Advertising. Publicity. Information. Design specialised exhibition

From 1–13 October, advance media accreditation will be available for the 20th Advertising. Publicity. Information. Design specialised exhibition of advertising services, which will take place from 15–17 October in Pavilion 2 of the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Exhibitors will display their products and services in the fields of advertising, printing, packaging, point of sale solutions and corporate souvenirs. The conference programme comprises 25 events, including a summit for corporate directors from the Customs Union, a conference on the role of legislative regulation in the advertising industry, and the StandUp Marketing practical conference. The exhibition will also include a demonstration of creative professional techniques and products, a variety of master classes, a presentation of the best international advertising, and much more besides.

Accreditation for 4th St Petersburg International Gas Forum now open

From 19 September to 3 October, advance media accreditation will take place for the 4th St Petersburg International Gas Forum, which will take place from 7–10 October 2014 in Pavilions 2 and 3 of the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Over 1,500 delegates from 15 countries will be participating in the event, including representatives from major oil and gas companies, including Gazprom, Statoil, and Wintershall Holding, and operators of key industry sectors such as xperion Energy & Environment GmbH, McKinsey, and others. Particular attention will be paid to production technologies and methods of transporting liquefied natural gas, as well as the use of gas as a motor fuel.

More than 300 participants will showcase their projects over 25,000 square metres of exhibition space. For the first time during the forum, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has organised an exhibition on import substitution. Leading Russian companies will be participating, including Rosneft, Sibur Holding, United Metallurgical Company, Lenpromavtomatika, and Titan Severo-Zapad.

Accreditation opens for 18th Russian Industrialist International Forum

From 16–26 September, advance media accreditation will take place for the 18th Russian Industrialist International Forum, which will take place from 1–3 October 2014 in Pavilions 7, 8, and 8a of the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex, in conjunction with the 7th St Petersburg International Innovation Forum.

Participants in the Russian Industrialist Forum will be drawn from 250 Russian and international companies operating in the machine tools, metalwork, mechanical engineering, robotics, lighting, and other industries. The event will include several specialised exhibitions dedicated to lighting products, non-destructive testing, fault detection and isolation, and galvanised manufacturing.

Participants in the forum’s business programme will discuss issues such as how to improve energy efficiency at industrial facilities, prospects for the development of regional clusters, as well as approaches to the reindustrialisation of Russia. In addition, teams of young scientists taking part in the Mechatronics and Robotics Festival, part of the Russian Industrialist International Forum, will present their innovative developments in robotics and participate in competitions.

Accreditation is now open for Agrorus 2014, the 23rd International Agro-Industrial Exhibition and Trade Fair

Preliminary media accreditation for Agrorus 2014, the 23rd International Agro-Industrial Exhibition and Trade Fair will be open from 7 to 20 August. The event will run from 23–31 August in the outdoor venue and in pavilions 4 and 7 of the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex.

Over 1,000 agricultural companies and farms, as well as private businesses from 13 different countries, will present their latest innovations, agricultural equipment, food products, and much more. Amateur horticulturalists will have the opportunity to show off their achievements in the outdoor venue, where there will also be a ‘pet farm’, honey tasting, and much more.

The business programme will include expert panels discussing issues related to innovative developments affecting the agricultural sector and rural areas, organic farming and other topics.

Accreditation opens for the Russian International Energy Forum and 21st Energetika and Elektrotechnika International Specialised Exhibition

From 3–16 June preliminary accreditation for the Russian International Energy Forum and the 21st Energetika and Elektrotechnika International Specialised Exhibition will be issued to media representatives, which are to be held in pavilions 7, 8 and 8A of the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex from 17–20 June.

The main subjects up for discussion by experts at the Russian International Energy Forum are the modernisation of electricity infrastructure, securing investment in energy, tariff regulation, energy efficiency and energy-saving techniques, staffing, and issues related to the development of the energy industry in the regions and in the housing and utilities sector. The Forum will be attended by representatives of federal and regional legislative authorities and the executive branch of the Russian Federation, as well as the directors of the country’s leading energy companies.

The Energetika and Elektrotechnika exhibition, the biggest international exhibition in the sector, tends to focus on the practical application of the issues up for discussion. More than 300 companies from 11 different countries will attend the event. Leading producers from the energy industry and suppliers of equipment and services for electricity and heating networks will be demonstrating their capabilities over an area of 12,000 m2.

Accreditation opens for the Baltic Marine Festival, the international specialist exhibition of yachts, motor boats and aquatic sports equipment and rigging

From 14 – 27 May, preliminary accreditation for the Baltic Marine Festival will be issued to media representatives. The Festival will take place in the outdoor area by Pavilion 7 of the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex and in the Galerny Fairway, from 29 May to 1 June 2014.

This year, some 80 yachts and motor boats manufactured by well-known Russian and international shipyards will be exhibited over an area of 7,000 square metres. Russia's largest marine festival will include the traditional parade of yachts, a sailing regatta, a demonstration performance of the Jetlev-Flyer jetpack flight system, master classes in sailing, and test drives of the latest motor boat models.

The exhibition’s thematic displays will also include aquatic equipment and materials, marinas and yacht clubs, navigation equipment, extreme water sports and fishing, water transport, and services for professional and amateur water sports enthusiasts.

Accreditation opens for St Petersburg’s 16th Hipposphere International Equestrian Exhibition

From 17–29 April, advance media accreditation will be open for St Petersburg’s 16th Hipposphere International Equestrian Exhibition, which will be held on 1–4 April in Pavilion 7 at the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex.

More than 60 companies from Russia, the CIS, the Baltic States, Germany, Spain, France, and the United Arab Emirates will exhibit 150 horses representing 20 breeds, as well as a full range of goods and services for animals and equestrians.Specialists will discuss issues relating to the organisation of an equestrian club, hippotherapy and riding for the disabled, veterinary medicine, equestrian tourism, and much more.

Visitors to Hipposphere can typically look forward to an outstanding entertainment programme, demonstration trials of draught horses, a pony show, workshops on Western riding and fitting horses with a Russian racing harness, as well as the Hipposphere Cup, a dressage tournament for horses and ponies.

Accreditation opens for Childhood Planet international exhibition

From 9–22 April advance press accreditation will be open for the 13th ‘Childhood Planet’ International Exhibition of Products and Services for Children and Families, which will be held on 24–27 April in Pavilion 4 at the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex.

Products for expecting mums and their babies, toys, educational games, fictional and educational literature, creative materials for children, and much more will be presented by around 140 companies from Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and Japan. At the same time, the ‘St Petersburg for Children’ forum will take place as part of the exhibition, and will hold discussions concerning socialisation, child services, and career advice for the young, orphans, and children left without parental care.

Younger visitors to the exhibition will also be catered for, with a child talent contest, a children’s hairdressing and beauty salon, an interactive road safety zone, a playground, creative workshops, and a colourful entertainment and cultural programme.

Accreditation opens for the 9th Senior Generation International Forum

From 9–22 April, advance press accreditation will be available for the 9th Senior Generation International Forum, which will be held on 23–26 April in Pavilion 7 at the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex.

More than 150 companies from Germany, Sweden, Finland, Japan, the CIS and Russia will be presenting products and services designed to make life easier for the elderly. In addition, an international congress organised by the Russian Ministry of Labour and Social Security will feature experts and government representatives discussing innovative approaches to providing medical services for the elderly, improvements to their health and quality of life, and the practical aspects of providing them with the best possible care.

Elderly people attending the exhibition will have the opportunity to learn how to use a computer, find out about healthy eating and effective management of their finances, find a job at the Careers Fair and enjoy the cultural events and entertainment on offer.

Accreditation opens for the Second All-Russian Congress of Rural Cooperatives and Agrorus–Regions All-Russian Agroindustrial Fair

From 17-31 March, advance media accreditation will be available for the Second All-Russian Congress of Rural Cooperatives and the Agrorus–Regions All-Russian Agroindustrial Fair.

From 3-5 April, the Second All-Russian Congress of Rural Cooperatives and the Agrorus–Regions All-Russian Agroindustrial Fair will be held at the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex (Pavilion 7). These events are designed to help implement government support measures and develop rural cooperation of all kinds.

On 4 April, the plenary session of the Congress of Rural Cooperatives will be held, and will be attended by Russian Minister of Agriculture Nikolai Fyodorov and other dignitaries.

The events are being organised by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the Russian Central Union of Consumer Cooperatives, the Russian Association of Farmers and Agricultural Cooperatives, and other cooperative unions and associations.

Press accreditation will be issued in the form established by the FSO (Federal Guard Service). Accreditation applications should be submitted by email to press@expoforum.ru.

Accreditation opens for 10th Housing and Utilities in Russia International Specialised Exhibition and Conference

From 5–18 March, advance media accreditation will be available for the 10th Housing and Utilities in Russia International Specialised Exhibition and Conference, which will take place on 19–21 March in Pavilion No. 7 at the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex.

The business programme for the conference will touch on issues related to the implementation of legislation in the field of housing and utilities services, the development of a new modernisation and refurbishment programme for apartment blocks, pricing policy, and energy saving measures and energy efficiency. As part of the exhibition, leading manufacturers from Russia, the Czech Republic, and the USA will present equipment and technologies for sewage systems, water supply, filtration systems, and industrial ventilation systems.

From 5–18 March, advance media accreditation will be available for the 14th Ecology of the Big City International Forum, which will take place on 19–21 March in Pavilion No. 7 at the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex.

More than 130 companies from Russia, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, France, and the CIS will present cutting-edge developments in the fields of waste management and resource-saving technologies, rational use of water, and information to support nature conservation activities. During the course of the forum’s business programme, experts will discuss the implementation of urban environmental policies, green construction, the introduction of innovative technologies and equipment in this field, the elimination of previously accumulated environmental damage, and plenty more besides.
