Начались подготовительные работы на строительной площадке
В Санкт-Петербурге начались подготовительные работы по строительству крупнейшего в городе конгрессно-выставочного центра (КВЦ), соответствующего международным стандартам.
Территория строительства полностью огорожена, выполнено разминирование территории. Следующим этапом станет расчистка территории от мусора и разборка фундаментов разрушенных овощехранилищ.
Начало строительно-монтажных работ намечено на весну 2011 года. До этого времени необходимо подготовить и согласовать проект конгрессно-выставочного центра и произвести вынос инженерных сетей с территории застройки.

The first stone was laid in the foundation of the Church of the Smolensk Mother of God Icon
Today, a ceremony was held to lay the foundation stone of the Church of the Smolensk Mother of God Icon. The church will be reconstructed based on drawings and sketches made by the Italian architect Giacomo Quarenghi who built the original church in Greater Pulkovo village in the 18th century by order of Catherine II. The church, however, was destroyed during World War II.

From May 31 to June 3 at the Lenexpo exhibition centre the first Petersburg natural gas forum was held with the support of Gazprom. ExpoForum Completed the Reconstruction Project Design of the Petersburg Highway
