In 2013 the first in St.Petersburg international state-of-art Convention and Exhibition Centre EXPOFORUM is launching.
The general idea of the project is to concentrate within one area the entire infrastructure for business events satisfying the international standards. EXPOFORUM centre includes exhibition space both outdoor and indoor, congress centre of 7000 persons maximum capacity with the main hall of 3000 persons capacity, the hall for gala events of 2000 persons capacity, three and four star hotels, an office building and other associated facilities such as warehouses, customs, restaurants etc. For improving the transport availability of the EXPOFORUM centre a traffic roundabout linking the venue with the ring road will be constructed.
Construction of the international Сonvention and Еxhibition Сentre is a part of the agreement signed on February 9, 2007 between the St. Petersburg city government, and Gazenergoprombank jsc. The company executing this project, ExpoForum jsc, was created on January 18, 2008.
