The Forum is a part of the Project of International Municipal Cooperation among the BRICS countries. Its core mission is to become the new engine of development in the field of international cooperation and experience exchange on the municipal level of the BRICS countries.
One of the main objectives of the Forum is the establishment of an economic platform that will bring together investment projects from the municipalities of the BRICS “Five”. The Forum participants are given the opportunity to present their investment projects within the municipality (for example, the construction of a hotel, a sports complex, and so on) and thus attract funding from Russian and other foreign investors.
International Municipal Forum of the BRICS Countries is a discussion platform for such key issues as the economy, investment, construction, and real estate operations, trade, manufacturing, agriculture. The Forum platform will allow the participants to establish impactful communications and acquire useful connections for further promotion of their ideas within the project objectives. The representatives of government agencies and local governance, businessmen and investors from the “Five” will participate in the Forum in 2019.
