On June 17, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs and ANO Excellence Center for Tourism and Hospitality. The document solidifies the parties’ intentions to create a training center for future employees and industry professionals.

The agreement was signed by Elena Ublieva, Executive Director of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, and Elena Vasilyeva, Acting General Director of the ANO Excellence Center for Tourism and Hospitality.

“The training center will allow to spread the best practices of the convention and exhibition industry,” said Elena Ublieva after the signing.

The Excellence Center is a structure designed to train young professionals through real-world experience.

“The Excellence Center was conceived many years ago. We were actively discussing this idea even before the pandemic. Despite all changes, we are moving forward with our plans. Although the geography of cooperation and the portrait of tourists are changing, the priorities persist,” emphasized Elena Vasilyeva.
