The Congress “Professional Education, Science and Innovations in the 21st Century” opened at the EXPOFORUM
Development of the vocational education system, convergence of views of business community and the scientific and educational sphere, discussion of topical issues of science, education and innovation are core goals of the Saint Petersburg Congress “Vocational Education, Science and Innovation in the 21st Century.” The event will take place in the EXPOFORUM from November 29 to December 01.
The theme of the current Congress is “Engineering and Engineering Education.” This is because the event takes place at the same time and on the same venue with the International Forum-Exhibition “Russian Industrialist,” where engineering education has become one of the 5 thematic tracks.
New high-skilled personnel is a necessary condition for development of high-tech, competitive, import-independent industry in Russia. The Congress enables accomplishment of this goal. Its program covers 11 events, including the plenary session “Engineers of the Future: New Technologies for the Russian Economy.”
Among the participants, there are representatives of the scientific and educational environment, leading practical experts, students and postgraduates, representatives of innovative-active organizations, representatives of public authorities. The organizer is the Committee for Science and Higher Education of Saint Petersburg.
