IT solutions in geriatrics, increasing life expectancy and combating dementia are the key topics of the congress program of the XVII International Forum «Senior Generation», which will be held from October 23 to 26 at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Among 16 thousand guests of the Forum there are social workers, medical specialists, relatives and friends who make the lives of older people more comfortable and brighter every day, give them love and care.

They will attend 27 events of congress program where more than 180 speakers will perform.

Key events:

• The key event will be plenary meeting «Changing the Perceptions of Age: New Standards of Longevity».
• Annual conference with international participation «Pushkova Readings XVIII» dedicated to innovative digital solutions in geriatrics;
• Conference «Joining Forces: Sharing New Practices in Working with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease»;
• Round tables and sessions on current topics of social policy in St. Petersburg, system of social services and long-term care, rehabilitation and other important issues;
• Thematic sections on medical treatment of older people, volunteering and sanatorium-resort rehabilitation.

Traditionally, the Forum will become the platform for meetings of the Council of War Veterans, veterans of labor and siege survivors, as well as their dialogue with the younger generation.
