Aquariums Improve Health and Boost Sales
According to Tikhonov, aquariums contribute to boosting sales. These are focal points, especially for children. In stores with aquariums, visitors spend more time and purchase more often.
This is explained by the positive effect that contemplation of fish has on the mental and physical health of people. According to the study at the Japanese Zoo, visiting the aquarium department has steadied human blood pressure and has reduced the concentration of stress hormones in the blood.
The expert also shared that fish of bright colors – red and green-striped – attract visitors above all. This effect is achieved by using special tinting feeds. They cause no harm to the health of fish, but, on the contrary, prolong life and protect against diseases, due to natural pigments containing antioxidants.
The Exhibition Zooindustria takes place at the EXPOFORUM from February 1 to March 1. It is participated by 150 companies, and the business program includes over 20 events. Over 6,000 guests will visit the venue in three days.
