«Expoforum» is a St. Petersburg brand

Expoforum became a laureate of Brand`s rating.

The rating of St. Petersburg brands was presented by the publication «Business Petersburg» («Delovoy Petersburg») from August 27.

Expoforum became a laureate and fair-exhibition “Agrorus” was included in the long list of St. Petersburg brand rating.

The technology of the rating was multi-stage: readers of the publication identified almost 200 titles that could qualify for the title of the best city brand, the editors selected exactly 100 names from them. Lists of the «Best 100» were sent to experts: professional associations working in the fields of marketing, PR, sociology and advertising. In parallel, monitoring company «Medialogia» gave an assessment of the brands by assessing the media activity of the brand. Top 30 brands were formed in the final.

Artemiy Smirnov, an editor-in-chief of «Business Petersburg», said succinctly about the essence of the rating: «We do not estimate the value of the brand. In fact, we evaluate the attitude to these brands from citizen point of view».

In the ranking of Petersburg brands, significant symbols of the city were included: the Hermitage Museum, Mariinsky theatre, «Sever-Metropol», St. Isaac's Cathedral and the Summer garden (Letniy Sad), and new brands that have won the city recently: space «Sevkabel Port», «New Holland», «Leningrad Center», animated series «Smeshariki».

In the rating, 20 profile nominations were held, and in the final nomination “Brand of the year”, project «Scarlet sails» («Alye Parusa»), the Mariinsky theatre and the state Hermitage Museum were presented. The main prize – a certificate for annual information support of «Business Petersburg» publication received the Hermitage Museum.

Expoforum congratulates the winners, laureates and participants of the rating and thanks everyone who gave their assessment.
