The EXPOFORUM has always been engaged in development of cooperation with the BRICS countries
“I welcome everyone to the EXPOFORUM venue, where the most significant in the country, and perhaps in the world, business and exhibition events take place. Here, the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum and the BRICS Countries’ Meeting are held, and the Russia – Africa Summit will take place in 2023,” Voronkov said.
The CEO of the EXPOFORUM International noted the Company’s merits in strengthening the BRICS countries cooperation and partnership.
“The EXPOFORUM has always been engaged in development of the BRICS countries’ cooperation in various formats. We have created the Chinese Business Center, the Business center with “Russia – Latin America.” I myself hold the position of Honorary Consul of Ecuador in Saint Petersburg. The EXPOFORUM venue is immersed in events related to the BRICS. We understand that cooperation of the group’s countries will be effective if it is carried out not only at the highest political level, but also at the level of municipalities, local governments, which we observe today at the Forum,” Voronkov added.
Sergey Georgievich also invited everyone to the International Forum-Exhibition “Russian Industrialist.”
“It is also important to strengthen business relations. It is very soon, when the “Russian Industrialist” will start in the EXPOFORUM. The Forum-Exhibition has the extensive international program, including the Russia – Latin America business talk, and joint events with Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan and other countries. The “Russian Industrialist” will be logical continuation of today’s BRICS Forum,” Voronkov concluded.
The BRICS+ International Municipal Forum takes place in the EXPOFORUM on November 24–25. Over 3,000 representatives from 39 countries take part in the event. The “Russian Industrialist” starts on November 29, and will last until December 01.
