Iran will take part in the International Forum-Exhibition “Russian Industrialist”
Russian industrialists increasingly consider Iran as a promising area for creating new cooperative chains, developing logistics routes, parallel imports, localization, and procurement of raw materials and components.
Iranian companies widely presented their export opportunities at the Iran Expo-2023 International Exhibition. The event was attended by employees of the EF-International Ltd, who form the business, exhibition and international programs of the Russian Industrialist Forum, – Ivan Polyakov, Head of the Russian Industrialist Project, and Tatiana Radion, Line Manager for Interaction with Key Partners.
At the Iran Expo-2023 Exhibition, they held over 30 meetings and negotiations with representatives of business communities, public authorities of Iran, enterprises of heavy, manufacturing and petrochemical industries. The discussion was thematically focus on formats for continuing mutual cooperation in development of communications between the Iranian and Russian business communities.
The tasks and needs of industrialists of both countries, formation and participation of the Iranian delegation in the business program of the Russian Industrialist Forum were discussed at the working meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran and the Iranian Trade Development Organization (TDO), which was participated by Khormali Rakhmatolla, Director of the Department of TDO for Central Asia, the Caucasus and Russia, Javad Saadat, Line Manager of TDO projects for Russia, Mohammed Yazdanikhorram, Consultant and Expert on TDO projects of Eurasia, the Caucasus and Russia.
The meeting resulted in the agreement between the parties on formation of the partnership agreement on congress and exhibition events with the EF-International Ltd, as well as on organization of additional mutual visits jointly with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. The meeting participants also agreed to consolidate by the treaty another promising trilateral cooperation of the Iranian Trade Development Organization (TPO), the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.
In course of the visit, the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Iran was attended, with the meeting participated by Rustam Zhiganshin, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Andrey Blinnikov, Deputy Trade Representative, and Aleksey Efimov, Head of the Economic Department, to be held. At the meeting, current demands and needs of industrialists and entrepreneurs of the two countries, aimed at developing mutual trade, logistics, investment and banking segments, were discussed.
The final point of the business trip was the visit to two production facilities for manufacturing household appliances and medical supplies for hemodialysis in the territory of the Payam Special Economic Zone. After that, the General Director of the Payam Special Economic Zone, Mr. Akbar Gkhanbarpour was presented with the Russian Industrialist Forum and other projects of the EF-International Ltd. At the end of the meeting, the head of the SEZ stressed the importance of constant contacts between Iran, Russia and the CIS member-countries.
The summarized result of the meetings can be formulated as follows: the Iranian business community has expressed interest in developing business relations with Russian companies in various fields. To di this, it is important to organize and hold congress and exhibition events, within which companies can conduct “live” meetings, present their products, and visit production facilities of their prospective partners.
The Russian Industrialist International Forum-Exhibition will be held on November 28-30, 2023, in the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre in Saint Petersburg. The Russian Industrialist is a federal platform for interaction of large-sized business with the state, leading technology companies, universities, scientific organizations, small- and medium-sized businesses, as well as foreign partners.
